My real estate journey began in 1998 when I started buying and selling, seller financed mortgage notes. At the time I knew nothing about the industry and I was completely self taught, learning by trial and error. In 2005 I started Crown Acquisitions, LLC to facilitate transactions. Eventually, I became a licensed mortgage professional. Inside the mortgage industry I have been an account executive, portfolio manager, mortgage broker and have helped countless people secure funding. As a mortgage professional, I’ve closed 100’s of transactions and average 40-50mm in transaction volume per year. I’ve worked with a lot of real estate investors who rely on me to underwrite their deals and to arrange financing for their deals. I enjoy the financing side of commercial real estate but my real passion is Class A multi-family residential real estate. I am constantly reviewing and analyzing large properties (200+ units), always on the hunt for the next deal. Being in the commercial finance space has instilled in me the value of relationships. To help investors grow and protect their wealth with real estate, I build and foster relationships on a daily basis. I am continually meeting with and financing new and seasoned investors alike. This is what keeps me driven to onboard new investors to this fund. Technology allows me to manage the firm without employing a large staff. This keeps my overhead low and allows me to focus on searching for and underwriting properties to acquire. Keeping overhead low, not overpaying for properties, aggressively raising rents, keeping current property management in place and not charging investors a large AUM fee is what allows me to achieve a 4x equity multiple for investors over a 5-7 year hold period. I have been learning and growing as an investor since 1998.
